On behalf of our client, DPA Microphones A/S, we are looking for a strong sales profile with excellent business development skills to fill the position as VP of Sales in a fast-growing company with a global outlook.

DPA Microphones A/S (DPA) is growing rapidly and is thus looking for a new VP of Sales to help them continue their journey of growth and development in new as well as existing markets. As the new VP of Sales, you will take part in a highly skilled and passionate management team of other VP’s in charge of the remaining global markets. Playing a central part in the organization, you contribute to the continuous growth and development of the markets in question as well as the company as a whole in close collaboration with other departments such as marketing, product management, R&D and Customer Service.


In doing this, you become responsible for two Area Sales Managers (ASM) in charge of the markets in South Europe and emerging markets, respectively. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President of Sales, you gather and share knowledge among the markets, in order to secure optimized processes as well as the execution of a best practice. In addition, you work strategically with change management in supporting the two ASMs in their work with a consistent implementation of the corporate strategy.


You work strategically with stakeholder management, internally as well as externally, in order to secure a holistic and profitable synergy among the sales activities. Subsequently, you are expected to keep up the continuous and fast paced work of growing the turnover according to the strategic goals defined by top management. You work within the framework of Sales Marketing Excellence, just as you participate in timely general reporting and follow up on sales and various channels, and you priorities new business opportunities and customer needs to ensure growth. Subsequently you do the business planning, including geographic assessment, client segmentation and product split.


Strong sales profile with excellent business development skills

You hold a master’s degree, preferably within business, commercial matters or engineering e.g. as cand.merc. In addition, you come from a similar position within business development, sales and leadership and thus, contribute with relevant experience from small and large-scale companies in an international context within the industry. Likewise, you are experienced in channel sales as well as technical sales preferable within pro-audio or technique. You are well versed in the South European market and thus skilled in one of the Latin languages. Finally, you are an experienced leader with a successful track record in change management.


As a person, you are very commercial oriented and passionate about business development as well as sales management. You carry a commercial mindset and you are ambitious on behalf of the company as well as on your own part. You are characterized by a strong will to succeed and thus, handle adversity with a constructive approach to challenges. Moreover, you have a corporate mindset with an open and proactive communication style. Finally, you have the ability to simplify complex matters from a holistic point of view and to motivate a team in a fast-paced environment. In doing this, you undertake an outreaching approach in working with customers as well as internal and external stakeholders, respectively.
