On behalf of Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, we are seeking a Transformation Officer, where you will play an important role in business-critical projects enabling the strategy often with elements of IT and data. This is a unique opportunity to join the CFO Transformation Office team at the world’s largest dedicated fund manager within greenfield renewable energy investments. As a Transformation Officer, you will be working at the intersection of strategy, operations, and change management, acting as a bridge between leadership, business units, and technical teams.
You will report directly to the Head of CFO Transformation Office, in the current team of five people.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Facilitating strategic roadmap and prioritization of initiatives owned by the CFO transformation office.
- Project management of prioritized projects particularly IT systems throughout the lifecycle from idea initiation to implementation
- Proactively suggest solutions, that enables effective decision making and facilitates implementation in the organization
- Ensure and facilitate continuous process optimization
- Act as facilitator and coordinator between project owners, key stakeholders and potentially external vendors
- Drive projects forward, maintain momentum and ensure that the expected change is anchored in the organization
- Support and promote a project execution and change management culture across CIP
- Support planning of new projects and explore needed actions to get to the end goal
Hands-On and pragmatic Project Manager
The ideal candidate holds a relevant academic degree, e.g. within Business, Finance, IT, or Data Science, and brings at least 3 years of relevant experience. A background in management consulting is considered a strong advantage.
The ideal candidate has thorough experience in managing and organizing projects, ideally projects regarding system implementations as well as process optimization, and is able to solve complex problems and deliver sustainable solutions. The candidate is diligent in making sure that projects advance, goals are fulfilled, and gains are materialized.
Proficiency in PowerPoint to present information in a clear and concise manner with a high level of attention the visual presentation is a key enabler of the ability to deliver on tasks.
Furthermore, the ideal candidate has a profound knowledge of strategic communication and change management. You know the importance of clear communication in a business transformation to meet the business expectations and to ensure alignment among all stakeholders. Your skills lie in stakeholder management in transformations where you have an extensive understanding of the stakeholder’s needs and profound interpersonal skills. As a result, you know how to advise internal stakeholders, drive their motivation and create commitment to the change.
Strategic and Solution-Oriented Profile
The ideal candidate is proactive by nature and capable of working independently, thriving in a dynamic environment marked by constant growth and change. They have a strong background in developing strategies, strategic roadmaps, and initiatives, and bring hands-on experience with implementing systems and related operational processes. A solid understanding of interdependencies across the CFO area—and the broader business—is essential.
You take a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to your work and enjoy variety in your day-to-day tasks, especially when navigating complex challenges and solving problems. You are skilled at providing concrete advice and proposing actionable solutions to support effective decision-making. With strong organizational abilities, you can manage multiple deliverables while maintaining high quality and meeting deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are a must, as is the ability to create clear, compelling presentations. Building positive relationships with stakeholders comes naturally, and you bring solid experience in project and change management, allowing you to drive initiatives forward with impact.
The Team
The Transformation Officer will join the CFO Transformation Office, a small and dynamic team currently consisting of five members. The team is responsible for managing a range of business-critical in-house projects that support the execution of the CFO strategy, often involving elements of IT and data. The team is always engaging with stakeholders across the business and strives to work in the office every day.
