Senior Key Account Manager

On behalf of our client, IDEMIA Denmark A/S, we are looking for a result-oriented, outgoing, and persistent Senior Key Account Manager with a passion for payments who can acquire new territories and/or win targeted new projects and customers as well as contribute with new ideas, initiatives, and actions that support the continuous growth of IDEMIA in Denmark. Due to significant growth in IDEMIA Denmark, they wish to expand their staff and hire a new Senior Key Account Manager.


 


The permanent target in the role is to deliver a defined annual budget. Hence, your primary areas of responsibility are:


 


  • Keeping existing customers through the renewal sales process
  • Getting new customers through the targeting of new territories and accounts
  • Growing existing customers through sales of advanced offers


 


 


Working with these areas of responsibility, you develop in-dept knowledge of the target customer environment, including competitor analysis and positioning, and you define and maintain a strategic account plan. Furthermore, you drive all activity to deliver on agreed milestones in the targeted territory/customer, including relationship-building growth at all levels, lobbying, sales pitch, tender process ownership, and contract negotiation.


 


Furthermore, you prepare and own customer offers, managing and closing the negotiations and ensuring signature of new contracts following the company policy and legal matrix. You manage a smooth handover to the project organisation/delivery team, including required handover documentation to secure top-quality implementation based on IDEMIAs XCellent sales model, and you create and continue to manage opportunities within CRM as required. Finally, you comply with customer quality systems, health and safety laws, the company code of conduct, and the use and integration of company standard tools and processes.


 


 


Experienced Senior Key Account Manager with a commercial and business-oriented mindset


To take on the role, you must have a commercial and business-oriented mindset, which is why your educational background should emphasize these keywords. You must have at least 5-10 years of experience with documented excellent results in sales roles, preferably in organizations with high complexity or solutions sales.


 


In addition, it is essential that you have experience selling into the Financial Services & Institutions sector as well as knowledge and experience of banking card or solution technologies (FINTECH). You must be comfortable with complex IT solutions and understand the technological developments within the payment and financial sectors. We are passionate about our clients and products – we expect the same from you Finally, you speak and write Danish and English fluently.

On a personal level, you are a strong communicator and a confident and experienced presenter who can convince. Furthermore, you have strong collaboration skills and thrive in a job where you work closely with different employees in the organization.


 


In the position, you should develop and maintain existing client relationships and look for new opportunities within these accounts while continuously prospecting for new, undiscovered leads and finding new opportunities with them. Hence, it is advantageous if you possess both sets of competencies.
