On behalf of Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, we are seeking a Finance Manager to join the Fund Controlling team. A dynamic, high-performing, and diverse team responsible for the controlling and financial analysis of funds in both Denmark and Luxembourg. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the financial backbone of a global leader within green infrastructure investments, while also growing into a more strategic and project-oriented role over time.

 


 


 


You will report directly to Head of Fund Controlling and be based at CIP’s headquarters in Copenhagen in a team of six people.


 


 


 


As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the financial controlling and reporting of several funds. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

 


 


  • Quarterly closing in accordance with the agreed closing procedures and deadlines

  • Quarterly controlling of accounts including cost controlling, balance sheet controlling, Intercompany reconciliation etc.

  • Developing, implementing, and facilitating initiatives to improve closing processes and procedures across the funds

  • Ensuring correct accounting treatment on various topics in accordance with IFRS

  • Point of contact for local service providers responsible for finance and corporate matters

  • Collaborating with external auditors on annual auditing process

  • Leading and advising the analyst in the team


 


 


 


Finance Professional with experience


We are looking for a finance professional with a strong academic background and relevant work experience. You are expected to hold a master’s degree in Business Economics and Auditing, Accounting, or a related field, and bring at least three years of experience within finance, accounting, or controlling. This experience may come from a similar role or from a Big 4 audit firm.


You should be confident within the core areas of financial controlling and have a strong theoretical understanding of IFRS. Practical experience with process management and exposure to fund structures will be an advantage. You are comfortable working in Excel and ERP-systems, and prior experience with Business Central is considered a plus. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
