Sales Director, EU Market Development

On behalf of our client, Wolly & Co A/S, we are looking for a commercially strong and strategically oriented Sales Director with solid experience from international markets, who can take clear ownership of the company’s sales development and market position across Europe. This is an attractive opportunity to drive growth, develop new markets, and build strong B2B customer relationships across the EU, with a focus on hometextiles, indoor decoration, and outdoor products.


 


As Sales Director, you will have the overall responsibility for market development, customer acquisition, and sales performance across the EU. You will work closely with Product Development and play a key role in translating trends and market insights into sales and concrete business opportunities.


 


 


Key responsibilities include:


 


  • Developing and executing sales strategies for the EU market
  • Identifying and building new B2B customer relationships, including retail chains, distributors, wholesalers, and private label partners
  • Driving growth across product categories within hometextiles, indoor decoration, and outdoor
  • Building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline with a continuous focus on new business
  • Preparing sales budgets and ensuring ongoing follow-up on KPIs and performance
  • Reporting pipeline, performance, and sales insights to senior management
  • Collaborating closely with Product Development on assortment and customer solutions


 


 


Commercial profile with a focus on new business and market development


We are looking for a candidate with strong industry knowledge within hometextiles, interior products, and/or outdoor categories, as well as documented experience in new business development and market expansion. You have solid commercial acumen, strong negotiation skills, and a structured approach to identifying and developing new business opportunities. You are fluent in English, and additional EU languages are an advantage. You thrive in a role with international travel and are motivated by working in an entrepreneurial environment with short decision-making processes.
